Thoughts

How green is your garden? How pure is the rain?

How wonderful the rainbow no colours the same?

How warm is the sunshine that glows in the sky?

And sometimes peeks out from clouds passing by?

Who makes the earth with it's colourful past?

Who can we ask how long it will last?

Scientists think they can answer in full

But mostly the answers are tangled like wool

The earth keeps on spinning and time marches on

The time we are living is not very long

We all have a purpose we are here to fulfil

Some to make peace and some just to kill

A few to rule us as Kings and Queens

Most of us poor and haven't a bean

Whatever our purpose, whatever our road

Our foot steps will take us whatever our load

But people we meet and become our firm friends

Make our steps lighter when our life ends.
