Two kinds of mankind
How many kinds of people walk the earth we know today
The spoken word, the coloured skin, not in that kind of way.
But how we walk among mankind on crowded streets each day
Our eyes cast down or straight ahead not once we say good day
Man’s meant to be superior to animals on earth
Yet even bears and wolves will let each other know their worth
Our race that has technology and sends man to the moon
Yet cannot live in peace together, cannot share a room
The fragile earth has hurricanes, lands flooded by the sea
And other places dried and parched, no crops the people see
Yet mankind does not help himself the fighting never stops
Random bombings hurt and maim in temples bars and shops
Two kinds of people walk this earth not sorted by their skin
They’re sorted by the way they think, their feelings from within
The hardened hearts that feel no love just hatred in their soul
Wretched beings driven by hate to kill and maim their goal
They beg and steal use drugs and deal and never give a care
They have no hope and do not love this earth that we all share
Others smile give praise and sing to see a newborn day
They share the little that they have to all who pass their way
They heal the earth by planting trees caring for all around
The gift of life fill up their hearts with joy, it knows no bounds
No mortal man can take away the strength of light within
Using the light from these good souls earth’s healing can begin
