Clouds
As I look up into the sky
I watch the clouds go racing by
White and fluffy, way up high,
Billowing, changing in the sky
A cloud that’s changing shape I note,
it moves and looks just like a boat
Passing by with sails unfurled,
going to another world
It skips along pushed by the breeze,
so silently and with such ease
If I could jump aboard that boat
to sail the sky I’d let it float
Into a peaceful magic land,
where I could wish and wave my hand
And everything just turns out right;
cares and worries all take flight
I dream my dream and give a sigh;
and smile at clouds still racing by.
