Anger
Anger, rage, it’s not a game
Push those feelings down again
All locked inside those feelings grow
No one on the outside knows
Resentment, bitter twisted thoughts
All buried deep in mangled knots
We bar the way, No entry here
In case it causes yet more fear
How can I work this problem through?
I just don’t know, what can I do?
Who’ll look inside and see my pain
So I can be all right again
And not feel wretched here inside
Cloaked behind a mask I hide
Then someone gives a ray of hope
Of finding ways of how to cope
The challenge taken with firm grip
I’ll take it on and run with it
To find a place where I can go
To find out what I need to know
To face the anger, fear and dread
To find happiness instead
An when I get there I will know
Accept my past and start to grow
